Using contacts from Xero

Once your Xero contacts have been imported, they're available in your Annature address book. The address book powers the recipient autocomplete when you're creating an envelope — start typing a name or email address and we'll suggest matching contacts so you don't have to enter their details manually.

How it works when sending an envelope

When you add a recipient to an envelope, the recipient field will autocomplete from your address book. If a Xero contact has a name, email, and mobile number, all three fields will be prefilled when you select them.

This is particularly useful if you're sending to the same contacts regularly — your Xero contact list becomes your sending list inside Annature without any extra setup.

Notes: Contacts imported from Xero are shared based on what you selected at the time of import — either with your whole organisation or a specific group. If you need to change how contacts are shared, you'll need to re-import them with the correct sharing setting selected.
