After the initial import, we automatically sync your Xero contacts with your Annature address book once every hour. Any contacts you've added or updated in Xero will be reflected in Annature within the hour.
We sync the same properties we import: full name, email address, and mobile number (falling back to the phone number field if the mobile field is empty). If you update a contact's details in Xero, those changes will flow through to Annature on the next sync.
We only pull contact information from Xero into Annature — we never write back to Xero. This means Xero is always the source of truth for your contacts. If you update a contact's details directly in Annature, those changes will be overwritten the next time the sync runs. Similarly, if you delete a contact from your Annature address book, it will be re-added automatically on the next sync.
If you need to update a contact's details, always make the change in Xero.
