ASIC extract
The company's details as reported by ASIC:
Company name and ACN
Company type, for example Australian Proprietary Company
Class, for example Limited By Shares
Status: Registered, or another status such as Deregistered
State of registration and Registration date
Registered office and Principal place of business
Officeholders
Directors, secretaries and other roles recorded with ASIC, with each person's or company's current address where available. One person can hold more than one role, for example Director and Secretary. Some companies also list an Ultimate holding company here, which is usually the overseas parent of a large group.
Ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs)
Individuals who own 25% or more of the company, directly or through other companies. For each UBO you'll see:
Beneficially held: the percentage they own for their own benefit.
Non-beneficially held: the percentage they hold on behalf of someone else, for example as a trustee or nominee.
Total: the two combined. If no UBOs could be found, you'll see a message explaining why. That's a valid result. It usually means no individual owns 25% or more, or ownership is hidden behind a blocking entity.
Blocking entities
Shareholders that own 25% or more, but where Annature couldn't trace through to an individual. Each blocking entity shows the reason, for example:
Non-beneficial organisation: the company holds its shares on behalf of someone else, usually as the trustee of a trust.
Country not supported: the company is registered overseas, outside ASIC records.
No shareholders found: no shareholders are recorded for the company. You'll usually need to investigate blocking entities further yourself, for example by requesting the trust deed. See ownership terms explained for more detail.
Other owners
Individuals and companies that own shares but fall below the 25% threshold. They're listed from the largest holding to the smallest.
Shares & Shareholding
Share classes issued by the company, with the class name and code, the number of shares issued and the total amount paid. Shareholders recorded with ASIC, showing for each holding:
Type: Individual, Organisation, or Joint when shares are held by more than one person.
Joint holding: whether the shares are held jointly.
Beneficially held: whether the shareholder owns the shares for their own benefit.
Class, Shares and Fully paid.
