Visibility of checks
Ownership checks are shared across your whole organisation. Everyone in your organisation can see and open every ownership check, no matter who created it.
Everything in an ownership check comes from public records. Company details, officeholders, shareholders and their addresses are all held on the public ASIC register, and anyone can order the same extracts from ASIC.
Because there's nothing private to protect, the group sharing permissions used elsewhere in Annature don't apply to UBO checks. Sharing every check across your organisation also means your team can reuse a check someone else has already run, rather than paying for the same company twice.
Why read-only users can't create checks
Each requested check is charged to your Pay as you go subscription. Read-only users can review results but can't create checks, so they can't add charges to your account.
