What Is the File Size Limit for an Envelope?

Combined documents in an envelope cannot exceed 50MB.

Annature supports multiple documents within a single envelope, giving you plenty of flexibility. However, to keep your envelopes fast to load and easy for recipients to sign, there are a few limits to keep in mind.

File Size Limits

Each envelope can contain multiple documents, but the combined total file size cannot exceed 50MB.

If you’re having trouble uploading a document, check its size and ensure the total across all files stays under the 50MB envelope limit.

Page Limits

In addition to file size, Annature also enforces page limits to keep envelopes efficient and stable.

  • Maximum pages per document: 2,000 pages

  • Maximum total pages per envelope: 2,000 pages (across all documents)

This means you can upload multiple documents as long as their combined page count does not exceed 2,000.

If you’re working with very large files or long documents, you may need to split them into smaller parts or reduce their size before uploading.

Keeping documents streamlined ensures a smooth experience for both you and your recipients.
